A year after [Krzysztof Komeda](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krzysztof_Komeda)'s death, one of his pupils, [Tomasz Stańko](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomasz_Sta%C5%84ko), released an album dedicated to his mentor.

Krzysztof Komeda and Tomasz Stańko are considered to be one the most important Polish jazzmans of all time.
